WARRANTY
CaravanStickers.com.au offer a limited warranty on stickers and decals installed on new caravans, for a period of 12 months, beginning on the date of installation.
CaravanStickers.com.au’s warranty covers the replacement and reinstallation of stickers during the warranty period. In certain circumstances, CaravanStickers.com.au may in its sole discretion provide a new sticker by post to a customer after the expiry of the warranty period.
CaravanStickers.com.au will not cover any further costs related to the labour of fitting the stickers after the expiry of the warranty period.
The warranty covers defects or faults in the materials supplied, or workmanship performed by CaravanStickers.com.au.
CaravanStickers.com.au will accept no responsibility for application problems, if the stickers have been installed by the purchaser or anybody other than an CaravanStickers.com.au employee.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the materials are used and maintained properly, kept under normal conditions and are used within product limitations.
EXPECTED DURABILITY/PERFORMANCE
The expected durability is defined as the performance life of the films in outdoor vertical exposure conditions. The stickers have an expected lifespan of up to 7 years when used and stored under normal conditions and good care is taken.
There are a variety of factors that can reduce the performance of the films used to make the stickers.
These include, but are not limited to:
TYPE OF SUBSTRATE
The substrate is defined as the underlying surface that the stickers are attached to. There are a variety of different materials that are used in the external cladding of caravans.
The different contour shapes and surfaces can have different effects on the expected durability of the attached sticker materials.
STUCCO
SMOOTH
FLAT
DIRECTION OF EXPOSURE
Stickers facing a vertical position (up to 10 degrees) will have longer expected durability than if they are facing a horizontal position (45 degrees or more)

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The expected durability can be reduced by environmental factors that include excessive UV exposure due to being used or stored in regions identified as zone 3 (refer to map)
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The stickers can be washed with mild soapy water, and a soft rag or brush. Please note that there are certain conditions that will void the warranty.
These include:
- Scrubbing the stickers with hard brushes or other abrasives.
- Washing or wiping the stickers with harsh solvents or other chemicals
- Using a pressure washer on the stickers

CaravanStickers.com.au makes every effort to ensure the final application of our stickers is neat and professional, however some minor issues are unavoidable given the nature of caravan surfaces.BRIDGING & BUBBLING
Bridging is a relatively common issue with stickers on caravan aluminium corrugations, and can’t always be completely eliminated. It is more common on stucco/high profile surfaces and is a result of the vinyl lifting away from the lower valleys in the contoured profile, trapping air and leaving the appearance of bubbles. The easiest solution to removing bubbles from stickers is by gently pressing the air from the bubble after making a small prick with a sharp blade or pin. When the vinyl is pressed firmly onto the surface, a heat gun can be used to heat the immediate area to 100 degrees Celcius. If the bubble cannot be pushed out without damaging the area, the sticker will need to be replaced either partially or completely.
LIFTING AND TRIMMING
If the edge or corner of the sticker has lifted slightly, it is sometimes possible to carefully trim a small part of the sticker with a sharp blade and remove it without changing the appearance of the design.
If the area has allowed water/dirt to creep underneath the sticker and contaminate the glue, the sticker will need to be replaced either partially or completely.
STONE CHIPS/TEARING
Stone chips on the stickers are a common problem on the front of the caravan and are considered a normal part of wear and tear.
If a hole or tear is large enough to affect the appearance of the sticker design, the sticker will need to be replaced either partially or completely.
FADING AND DISCOLOURATION
The performance of the colours can be reduced by excessive exposure to the sun.
Fading can occur in red/magenta faster than other colours when exposed to UV radiation.
When the sticker has been exposed to very hot environmental conditions (see map), or if it is attached to a black surface,
the discolouration can occur. This can have the appearance of ‘rust’.
To extend the life of the colour brightness, the caravan should be stored under cover wherever possible.
STICKER APPLICATION GUIDE
1. REMOVING OLD STICKERS
Old stickers can be removed easily using gentle heat from a heat gun or hairdryer. Please note: Some old stickers can be very hard to remove after years of sun exposure, and that sometimes the only effective way is to sand and repaint the surface beforehand.2. PREPPING THE AREA
The surface that you will be applying the sticker on needs to be thoroughly cleaned and free of any old stickers, glue residue, dirt or grease etc. This can be done using either methylated spirits or thinners.3. APPLYING THE STICKER
There is a layer of transfer film on top of the sticker. Pick up the transfer film by the corner and carefully remove the backing paper, so the sticky side of the sticker is now exposed. Place the sticker lightly onto the area and adjust it into the correct position, using a tape measure if necessary. DO NOT apply any pressure to the sticker until it is in the correct position.Flat Surface
Using the plastic applicator provided and using consistent pressure, start in the centre and work towards the edges. The sticker requires pressure over one hundred percent of the surface.Stucco Corrugated Surface
Using your thumb and working horizontally, apply even pressure over one hundred percent of the surface. Please note: Stucco Surfaces require more pressure to stick than smooth surfaces.Smooth Corrugated Surface
Using your thumb and working horizontally, apply even pressure over one hundred percent of the surface. Please note: Inconsistent or uneven pressure will result in bubbles.4. REMOVING TRANSFER FILM
Take care when removing transfer film so you don’t tear the sticker. Pull it back onto itself, as close to the surface as possible.5. REMOVING BUBBLES
Bubbles can be pricked with a sharp blade releasing the air trapped underneath, then pushing flat.6. POST HEATING
For better adhesion the sticker can be heated to 100 degrees celsius using a heat gun, taking care not to scorch or damage the sticker.RECOMMENDED CLEANING MATERIALS
All of these products will soften the glue and make it easier to remove stickers. Note: Check the product compatibility with the caravan surface by trying on an inconspicuous area first.
